Art series: LOVE.
Love is a neurobiological phenomenon that relies on trust, pleasure, belief, and reward activities wihtin the brain (especially the limbic system). The feeling of love is related to the release of various neurotransmitters, such as oxytocin, dopamine, serotonin and endorphin (endogenous morphine). Hence, love has a stress-reducing and health-promoting effect. Therefore, we cannot live without love. However, the question is: do we love with our brain or with our heart? Sometimes we really like someone and cannot get them out of our head. Love is irrational, but is often rationalized. This art series reflects my search for love and how love relates to the brain and heart.
